I know that RI doesn't have a Christian radio station, so we have no idea what's good out there. Well...some how I find out what's out there and what's good, so listen up!
If you guys are into worship music (which you should!), anything from Passion is good. Passion is a live conference targetted for young adults, and has awesome speakers and worship leaders. Also look for stuff from Chris Tomlin. Many of the praise and worship songs we do are written and performed by this guy. One of my favorites is David Crowder Band, but you guys might not like his style right away. He's creative though, and original.
If you guys like the sound of guitars and powerful vocals, look for Shane & Shane. They are two guys who can sing very well. Though most of their songs are identical to stuff found in Psalms, it'll definately help you remember what verse says what.
If you guys like punk rock stuff, or just rock music, then listen up. Of course, many of you guys have probably heard of Switchfoot. They're pretty mainstream now, but it's always good to check 'em out. Third Day is pretty good if you don't like your rock too heavy. Hm...A lot of people are into Relient K and Falling Up. I really haven't listened to any Falling Up stuff, but Relient K is pretty good. Also check out Mae. They have some catchy stuff. Kutless falls inbetween hard rock and soft rock. They sure are a favorite.
I'll post more if I can think of more.

Falling Up is kinda like Linkin Park. Electro-Rock. Just a little electronics only though. First album "Crashings" perferred over lastest album "Dawn Escapes."
